Seeking approvals

We are all seeking approvals 

One way or other

From someone special 

Or the world 

The approval of beauty

Of intelligence 

Of wisdom

Or smartness

We need to feel that false satisfaction 

From someone else's words

For we are not complete from inside

For we have some kind of emptiness

We go to long depths

To prove those criteria

More than what we are

We pretend

We are all seeking approvals
